Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is an extremely powerful tool for bringing information from our analog lives into our increasingly digital world. The availability of digital information has completely revolutionized the world and have led to tremendous growth in business, research govermental spheres and so on. However , despite the vast amount of research that have taken place in this field , the use of OCR is still coupled with availability of scanners ,thus restricitng its vast potential. We intend to harness this hidden potential by allowing general public to digitize any textual source they want, just via click of their mobile phones. Besides, we are also motivated by the fact that such a system , when fully functional would help visually impaired to be able to read any text document they want just by using their mobile phones.
